REACH, RoHS & Chemical Testing in China
Chemical testing helps buyers investigate specific substance restrictions in materials, components and finished products. YiwuQC can coordinate a defined test request and sample transfer to a suitable independent laboratory in China.
Actual testing and original reports are provided by independent local laboratories, not YiwuQC. Appropriate accreditation, licensing or authorisation, test methods and availability are confirmed before each assignment.
Scope and methods
What can be tested?
REACH, RoHS, PFAS and buyer restricted-substance lists are not interchangeable. The test plan must identify a product, destination market, material, current substances and test methods before an independent laboratory can quote.
REACH restrictions
Choose methods for applicable substance restrictions such as certain phthalates or metals where the product, material and intended use make them relevant.
RoHS testing
Arrange material-based screening or laboratory confirmation for restricted substances in applicable electrical and electronic equipment; documentation duties are separate.
PFAS and RSL requirements
Define a suitable restricted-chemical panel for textiles, coatings, plastics or other components in line with market and buyer requirements.

Important limitation
A passing report on selected materials or substances does not establish every product or supply-chain obligation. REACH and RoHS may also require documentation, declarations and regulatory decisions by the responsible manufacturer or importer.

Buyer questions
Common questions about this testing scope
Can I buy one REACH certificate for all requirements?
No. REACH contains different restrictions and obligations. A laboratory reports findings for defined tests and samples; a single generic certificate cannot demonstrate compliance with all of REACH.
Does RoHS testing automatically grant CE marking?
No. Where applicable, RoHS is one part of broader product conformity. The responsible manufacturer must identify all applicable EU requirements and complete the necessary assessment and documentation.
Can samples be taken during a product inspection?
A sample collection visit can be considered where goods are accessible and sample identity, sealing and transfer arrangements are agreed. The independent laboratory performs the actual testing.
